Established in 2006. The building that Farwood Bar & Grill occupies today was reportedly built in 1916 as a gentlemen's bar called the Richelieu. It was a very popular social venue for the town's businessmen to quench their thirst and conduct business. The safe that is restored and displayed in Farwood was used to hold merchants' money on weekends to be transferred to the bank on Monday. The history of the beautifully carved oak bar in Farwood is well known to area residents. It was made in England, shipped around Cape Horn at the south end of South America, and functioned as a bar in San Francisco for an unknown number of years. In 1916, it was barged up the Sacramento River to be installed in the Richelieu and has remained there ever since. Now serving Sunday Brunch!! Online Ordering Available! We offer hand-cut steaks; fresh seafood; pasta; burgers; main course salads; house-made dressings, sauces and soups. We use local ingredients, and our menu changes seasonally.

Been away during extensive repairs to my home. First night home didn't feel like cooking so ordered Farwood curbside service. It exceeded my expectations! Curbside service was prompt and friendly. The meal was exceptional, best steak I'd had for quite a while. Thank you Farwood, keep up the good work, and thank you for your continued service during these uncertain times,

Excellent service and flavors! Farwood is worth the drive from Chico. Our only complaint this time was too many won tons and sriracha and not enough poke and avocados on the poke nachos.

This place is clearly one of the finest place to eat in the area. Always when I go there I am so pleased. They always keep their very high level service and the highest level of food they give. You always win with this restaurant. Highly recommended.
